Do proxy chains work?

Scenario

I'm using the new proxy user feature and I assign Person A to look after my account whilst I'm on leave. Whilst I'm on leave, Person A suddenly falls ill and needs to assign Person B to look after their account. 

Because Person A is my proxy user, does Person B also receive my requests?

Answer

No, Person B will not receive your requests in this scenario. It is recommended that a department manager edits your leave and assigns a new proxy user to manage your account.
