This page outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.
Release Overview
The focus of this release was in the approvals and briefing where we have added functionality as well as fixing some UI bugs that had crept in over time.
Improvements
AD-2517 Submission Brief > Request changes before creating project
A Submission Brief refers to an online brief created from the Dashboard which is submitted to a person/group of people who will then create a project based on information within that brief. It is a very efficient way to create a project based on information from the client.
Previously, when a submission brief was received, there was no way to request changes be made to it, only that the submitter fill in a new brief entirely.
Now, if you receive a submission brief, you will be able to reply to it with some changes you would like made or request additional information be added to the brief. When the submitter sends through a later draft, you can then create the project.
AD-2458 Approvals > Make it more obvious that this approval is part of a batch
We found that users were often not noticing that an approval request was part of a batch and could be handled in more efficient ways.
To counter this, we have added a new icon to the Approvals List as well as made the buttons in the Full Screen Approval view stand out more.
AD-2633 Full Screen Approval (FSA) View > Incremental zoom out
When viewing an approval request for artwork in the FSA view you are able to zoom in incrementally on the artwork but, when you zoom out, it snaps back to the full screen size. We have added incremental zoom out to make this feel more natural.
AD-2612 Approval Submission > Allow project documents to be attached
When submitting an approval request, users are able to upload Supporting Documents (additional information that will assist the approver to make a decision on the artwork). Sometimes you need to upload the same document to several approvals so, to make this more efficient, you can now upload that file as a project document and simply attach it to your approval requests.
AD-2631 Dashboard > Recent Projects > Show/highlight jobs that have been Finalised
If there is a Finalised job in your Recent Projects list on the dashboard, there is now a label to show this.
AD-2526 Option to hide finalised projects from the Recent Projects on the Dashboard
Organisations now have an option to include/exclude any Finalised jobs from the Recent Projects section of the Dashboard. This is particularly useful for high volume businesses where projects are very quickly processed and seeing only the open jobs on your dashboard is important.

AD-2474 Admin > User Groups > Select Any/All as a default for a given group
When submitting an approval request to a group of users, you are able to specify whether you want All users in the group to respond, or if you want Any one user to respond. This is done on an approval by approval basis. Now we have added functionality to set a default for each User Group.
AD-1301 Admin > Users > Search for users then export the found set
We have added a feature to the Admin system that allows administrators to search for a set of users and then export this list as an Excel document.
Bug Fixes
AD-2653 Approvals > Rejected items that are recalled are still labelled as rejected
Recently we added functionality allowing a user to recall an approval request if they wanted to. However, if an approval had been rejected and you then recalled it, the status would always remain as rejected. We have now fixed this issue.
AD-2617 Full Screen Approval > Improvements to the multi page selector
When viewing an approval request for a multi page PDF document, a list of thumbnails for each page will slide in and out at the bottom of the screen as you interact with it. There were some quirks with this area appearing/disappearing in odd ways which we have now fixed.
AD-2614 “Forward For Feedback” items not counted in the Sent Approvals
Fixed a bug where, if you had received an approval request and forwarded it for feedback, it wouldn’t be counted in the number of items you had sent out.
AD-2643 Briefs > Date Picker > Working Days includes weekends in some circumstances
Fixed a bug in the briefs where a date picker is supposed to exclude weekends but was still picking Sundays under certain conditions.
AD-2607 Email Notification > New Account
When a new account is created, an email is sent to that person which allows them to set a password and login. However, some people thought this email looked like spam and deleted it. We have made the email look nicer and made the messaging more obvious.
AD-2472 Meeting Calendar Request > Message is cut off after first line
If you add a meeting in the Resources system, an email is sent to each attendee which includes an ICS file which adds the meeting to their calendar. We have fixed an issue where any message included in these ICS files was cut off after the first line.
AD-2545 Away Day Calendar Subscription > Show away days as a full day
Previously if you subscribed to the Away Days calendar for your team, each away day would take up the entire day in the calendar, completely obscuring your other events for that day. Now these just show as “full day events” and are treated using the default behaviour of your calendar app.
