Setting a usage expiry date and what it means.
You can set a usage expiry date when finalising a deliverable in admation. This is a popular option for perhaps a limited-use stock image or an image that you only have the rights to use for say, a year after a given date. Whilst the file(s) may still be available in your Ad Storage after those usage expiry dates elapse, there are a number of actions that will no longer be available to you. We've listed these below.
You cannot download that file.
For elapsed assets, whilst you will still be able to see that asset in your ad storage or asset library, you will no longer be able to select, download or bulk download that file out of the system. The checkbox that allows you to select items to download items in bulk will also disappear. When you click into that item, you will no longer see an option to download from here either.
You cannot send that file to your cart.
For elapsed assets, whilst you will still be able to see that asset in your ad storage or asset library, you will no longer be able to send those files to your cart, for exporting out of the system or sending to other users. The checkbox that allows you to select items to send that item to your cart will also disappear. When you click into that item, you will no longer see an option to add to cart from here either.
