Viewing the Status of a Colleague's Approval that's been Forwarded

If you are a team member on a project, it may be helpful to have visibility on a colleague's approval that's been forwarded to another team. Because forwards can sometimes affect a reviewer's ability to respond on time, it may be good to have some visibility on where these bottlenecks are in your workflow.

Accessing the Status of the Approval 

As a team member of a project who did not forward the work, the only way to access more information on the approval is from the project directly. Locate the project from your Projects list, then click the Blue Arrow Icon for more information next to the approvals section of your project. 

Use the Information Icon to click through to the approval. 

Viewing the Status of Items Pending Feedback 

On the following page, you will find the approval information for the original reviewer on the workflow. If that reviewer has forwarded for approval or feedback, you will see an icon next to their name that indicates this. 

Because you were not the person who forwarded the work, you will have an anonymised version of this view, where you will be able to see how many people were forwarded the work, and the responses of that forward.

Putting the Above Theory into Action

In the above scenario, we can see that: 

• Mel has forwarded the work 3 times 
• She is waiting for the responses for 2 of those forwards 

This may be why she has seen but is yet to respond to the approval.
