Sharing Assets from the Cart

After you've finalised an item in admation, it will move out of your Projects list and into the Ad Storage. From here, you may like to send it out to an external party, like a printer or distributor.

Adding Items to Your Cart

The asset cart is predominantly like a temporary storage facility for your items until you share them out of the system. Assets in your cart may be downloaded onto your device, saved as a collection or shared. The main benefit of using the cart is the ability to track any download history out of the system. It can be used for admation and non-admation users.

To add multiple assets to your cart, go to the Ad Storage. You can also add files from the Production Files section of a project. For sharing items that have already been finalised, head to the Ad Storage.

To add a single item to the cart from your Ad Storage, hover over the image you'd like to share, and click the Cart icon. 

To add multiple items to the cart, select the assets by clicking their Checkboxes. Selected items will be highlighted in blue. Then click the Cart icon from the Actions Bar across the top of the screen. 

Once you have added assets to your cart, click the Cart tab which is found on the top right navigation bar.

Sharing Your Cart

You'll see an option to Share Cart. Sending an admation cart is similar to sending off an email with lots of attachments in it. Any shared cart recipients will receive an email with the option to download its contents out of the system. Click this button to share your cart.

Select the Users that you'd like to send your artwork to by typing their names into the To field. Fill in the rest of the fields and Send Message when you're done, noticing that all items in your cart have been automatically added as an attachment.

Sharing Ad Storage Final Assets With External Users

To send your files to people without admation accounts, click the Edit Pencil icon  then click onto the External Users tab.

Type in the person's first name, last name and email address as required. Then click Add User, to add the email to the list on the right of your screen. Then select whether each user will be the main recipient, a CC recipient or a BCC recipient for your cart's contents. Click Done once you're happy with your inputs.

Click Send once you're ready to send your cart off. Your recipients will receive an email with a link to download your files as required.
