Forwarding Artwork to External Users
You may like to forward artwork to users outside of admation for review. When you forward to external users, that user receives an email with a temporary link to access your artwork in admation.
Go to your approval and click the Forward button. If you’d like to forward an item to a user without an admation account, click the Advanced button. Click the Pencil Icon next to the word Approvers. You may also Edit Approvers.
Adding a User Outside of Admation
Click the External Users tab. Type in the email address, first name and last name for that individual and click Add User.
As of admation 3.94, admation will remember any external user that you've previously entered in this field. Start typing an email, first name or last name in the respective fields to bring up a list of external users that match your search terms!
An external user will have access to the Approvals Screen for this item only. Here's an external user guide for help with using the Approval Screen if you're an external user.
Finish filling out your approval settings for your forward by following these steps.
Note that you may also want to include your annotations in the file you send to your external user/s too.
Including Your Annotations in Your Forward Request
Some users prefer to forward items without including their annotations. This is done by default. If you'd like to include your comments in your Forward request, make sure that you're in the Advanced mode. To include your comments and annotations, click the button that says Include My Markups. You'll notice that any other information that you filled out earlier has carried across into this screen.
Click Done. Then Submit your request once it’s ready to go.
From here, you may like to view the status of the work that's been forwarded for approval or feedback or learn how to lock your approvals once you no longer wish to receive feedback from your forwards.
