Adding Files to the Asset Library
The asset library is great for storing items like logos and imagery. Unlike the Ad Storage, which stores finished advertisements (ie. Posters, TV Commercials, eDMs) that are ready for market, the Asset Library is where we store all the imagery (ie. a logo, an image) that features in your advertisements.
Click the Asset Library button found on the top navigation bar to get started. You'll see a list of all existing assets currently stored in the library. To add a new file to the library, click New Library Asset.
Adding an Asset that Requires Approval
If the item(s) you want to upload into the Asset Library require approval before they are made available, click Require Approval. This will prompt you to set up a new project as if the item were to go through the regular approval process.
Adding an Externally Approved Asset
If the item(s) you want to upload have already been approved outside of the admation system, click the Direct Upload button and follow the prompts. This option assumes that you have the permission to automatically store the items you wish to store here. By default, these assets will be available for anyone within your organisation to view.
You'll then need to add the project meta-data for this item, which essentially means anything that can help make your campaign or project searchable in the Asset Library. Fill this section in properly to ensure that you can locate your assets after! Click Next Step to continue on.
Then you can Upload Your Asset(s). You can do this by clicking the Browse button, or by Dragging and Dropping the required files into the nominated area. Click Next Step to continue to Step 3, where you'll need to add specific meta-data for your assets.
Confirm your inputs in Step 4. Ensure that you look over everything carefully as you cannot delete items from your asset library – you can only archive an asset once it's been added. Once all of your asset information is filled in and saved, the item(s) will be accessible in the Asset Library.
