Document Approval Requests
Online documents or briefs are sometimes sent to you for approval within admation. If you need to approve or request changes on an online document, this guide will provide you with an overview on how to achieve this.
Accessing a Document Approval Request
The easiest way to receive notifications from admation is by email. Admation automatically sends messages through to your work email if there’s something to be actioned or reviewed. You can access an approval request by clicking the link in this email, or by heading to your Admation Dashboard and clicking the Approvals tab.

Reviewing a PDF Document in admation
You can review a range of documents in admation. Whilst PDF documents can be annotated directly in admation, documents created in Word, Powerpoint or Excel will need to be downloaded and viewed on your own device by downloading them from your approvals screen.
Annotating a PDF document is the same as annotating artwork in admation.
Review a non-PDF Document in admation
Non-PDF documents will need to be reviewed on your own device. Once you are on the document approval screen, click the Download button to view the document on your own device.
If you are satisfied with the document, click the green Approve button in admation and follow the prompts.
Adding files and general comments to documents
If you are requesting changes, it is so important that you communicate to the submitter what exactly needs to change. To do this, you can add files and general comments to support your change request.
If you are dissatisfied with the document, or if you have changes to make, update the downloaded document on your device. Then ensure the updated document is saved to your computer and click the Attach Files button at the top of the screen. Then select your files to attach.
Click the Browse button to locate the document. Click Upload.
Your file can be seen as an attachment under the Approval Info tab.
You can also include a General Comment. This message will be seen by the person who submitted the document. Click the General Comment button, then type your comment. Click the tick icon to save your comment.
This general comment will also be visible from the Approval Info tab found in the side panel. The Approval Info tab works a little bit like a newsfeed! All comments will be visible from this panel.
Submitting your Feedback for a Document
Once you have attached your feedback and documents, you can submit your changes for review. Click the red Changes button to submit your changes. Click Submit.
Once you have submitted your Change Request, click Exit to return to the Dashboard.
